B James Mk4 Glass Carp Rod. Excellent
B James mk4 10' carp rod in typical medium brown glass. I've marked this rod as used and it probably has been.
It remains in absolutely superb condition however considering it dates I think from the early 1960s. Sound cork, blank unmarked, all whips and varnish very good and good transfer.
The transfer is difficult to photograph but reads' B James & Son England'. The bag is in good condition. I'd guess the tc comes in around 1 1/2lb but I've not measured it. It has a nice firm, positive action.
A really nice practical rod for lovers of glass like me.
