Action is more progressive and they are effortless casters, the additional length helps with this and with the playing action. Really wellbalanced with Emblem 45 reels, at home under the rod tip to 130yds for me (15lbstraight through) - more for the better casters out there.

This newmaterial enable us to build very strong slim blanks, with very efficientrecovery, reminiscent of our Hi-'S' range but with a new, unique look - thuswas born the'S'-Lite. However don't be fooled by the name as in testing the castingversions were capable of truly impressive distances, testament to the loadingresponse and fast recovery this material lends to the rods.

The slimness of theblank helps with this but the carbon has to b high quality not to feel tipheavy. As with allFree Spirit rods the finish has to be cosmetically attractive and different andthe weave is quite stunning and as usual features our'Perdurable' finish. Tocompliment the 40t low resin ultra slim blank is a new Fuji reel seat - theTVSM which features open sides and we fit a carbon sleeve of the same materialas the blank to help transmission through the seat to the hand.
